ALBAWABA - Apple recently sued an employee for exposing secret iOS information to the media. The US complaint alleges that a former Apple engineer leaked iOS features and services to journalists, threatening the company's future products and strategy.

Apple claims that Andrew Aude told reporters about unannounced Apple products, internal policies, and operational methods. The firm claims these actions leaked proprietary information and hurt Apple's market position.

The employee allegedly leaked information about upcoming Apple apps like the Journal app for iOS through agreements with the Wall Street Journal and The Information. As part of these revelations, it's also possible that early versions of the much-anticipated Apple Vision Pro were corrupted.

Aude originally denied involvement in the leaks when Apple executives questioned him last October. Aude reportedly admitted some of the charges in later interviews. Further investigation indicated that Aude's smartphone had deleted several conversation records, suggesting evidence manipulation.

Apple is suing the former employee for violating confidential information contracts. The corporation claims that trade secret leaks threaten its business and IP.

Andrew Aude and Apple have not commented on the allegations. If found guilty, the employee could be fined or imprisoned. The case highlights Internet businesses' growing concerns in preserving personal information despite market scrutiny and competition.
