ALBAWABA - Apple was criticized for an iPhone keyboard glitch that suggested the Palestinian flag emoji while typing "Jerusalem." The firm apologized and promised to fix this in the future version. This incident has heightened global Israel-Palestine discourse.

The Israeli-Palestinian tragedy has captivated the globe. Many nations are trying to halt the war, which has killed hundreds. Apple was criticized over an iPhone keyboard emoji error. The corporation admitted fault. 

Reports say iPhone users were suggested the Palestinian flag emoji while typing "Jerusalem" on the keypad. Jerusalem, sacred to Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, is the capital of Israel in certain countries and Palestine in others.

Apple was criticized for suggesting the Palestinian flag emoji after typing "Jerusalem" on the iPhone keypad. This is a touchy matter, especially given the turmoil. Fortunately, the tech behemoth admitted fault. The company said it did not mean to do this and will fix it in the upcoming version.

As boycott campaigns against Apple have begun to fade as users initially believed the company's actions were in support of Palestine. However, after Apple announced that it was an error in its system and would be corrected in the next update, supporters of the Palestinian cause continue to emphasize the necessity of boycotting Apple as one of a primary supporters of the Israeli occupation economy.

Instagram was criticized in recent months for mistranslating Arabic terms like "alhamdulillah" and certain Palestinian users' profiles containing "terrorist." This was not intentional, and Instagram quickly fixed it.
